Is this for real? Supposedly, this was from a camera found in the wreckage of the WTC, developed by the FBI for evidence and released on the net today. It was finally debunked on the news, however: it is indeed a fake. Apparently, people have been trying to figure out whether or not it's a fake by making observations such as 1) It's an AA plane, so that would be the first one, which hit at 8:45am. The camera is looking north, so the sun/shadow on the guy's face is about right. However, the WTC observation deck was scheduled to open each day at 9:30am. 2) Why is he wearing a winter coat? 3) The plane would be moving at 500mph...even with a fast shutter speed, it should be more blurry, yet the plane is in the sharpest focus of anything in the picture. 4) The planes came from the Hudson, but this plane is flying due south. 5) This looks like a 757, but AA11 was a 767.
